9) Download a video-sharing app on your phone or iPad and test it out

More users flock to Facebook than Google

Check out the results from a survey conducted by Hitwise at the beginning of March.

According to Hitwise: "Facebook has established an extremely loyal following among news readers, potentially threatening the dominant position held by Google News. Hitwise´s latest data, from the week ending March 6th, shows that 78 per cent of Facebook users were returning visitors to print media websites from the social networking site."

News videos have better take-off on Facebook, blogger finds

Do you get your News video primarily from Facebook or Twitter? Blogger and social media marketing scientist (cool job) Dan Zarrella did the math in a mini experiment, and found that Facebook has more of a viral impact on sharing articles with Video in the headline than Twitter. Why you ask? Well, it's all about the ease of embedding video. It's easier to do on Facebook, concludes Zarrella.

Poll: Where do you get your daily news?

The vast majority of Americans get their news from multiple news platforms and 59% get news from both online and offline sources on a typical day, according to a Pew Internet poll. The internet is now the third most-popular news platform, and falls behind local and national television news and ahead of national print newspapers, local print newspapers and radio, according to Pew.
